Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve started off with some sledding.  It was so much fun because there was a sheet of ice over the snow.  Ethan and Brett went forever and had to make themselves crash so they wouldn't wreck into a gate.  Ethan loved it!

Olivia and Jack don't like the cold at all, so they spent their time in the pick up car.

Every year we redo the Nativity Story.  Jack is a shepard and the only way his Grandma could convince him to wear his outfit was to tell him that he killed the animal he was wearing.  Liberty, my niece, was playing Mary and when she tried to put baby Jesus in the cradle Olivia freaked out and kept trying to take the baby out.  It was pretty funny.  Ethan is a king and did a fabulous job.

Four Babies!

What do you get when you try to get a posed picture out of four one year olds?  CHAOS!

We finally got a good one when we confined them to the stairs. In the back row there's Johnny (shawn's little boy) and Olivia and on the front row are Brooke's little twins Max and Isabella.

Jack getting ready to slide down the HUGE mountain!

Olivia when we first got outside.  She didn't last long since it was only 4 degrees outside

Going to see Santa

We went on Thursday to see Santa and tell him EXACTLY what we wanted for Christmas.  The boys thought it was great and are very confident that they will get everything on their list because they told Santa and because they have been good this year.  Olivia wasn't so sure about it..she never really cried but was just completely freaked out.  After I took Olivia out of the picture Santa grabbed Ethan and put him on his lap and was VERY surprised at just how heavy he was.  It went a little bit like this, "Ho ho HOOOO, wow you are a big boy."  (Ethan is super solid.)  Afterwards we went over to grandmas and watched the Grinch, a Christmas favorite.  I love this time of year!

Ethan, Ace, and Jack in action.

The gang right before we started

Every year we hand out dead dogs and witches brew (hot dogs and cocoa) to my neighbors and the parents.  Since it was so nice this year everyone was able to sit around the fire all night.  It was great.

Olivia did NOT like her costume..especially the shoes and hat!

Trip to the zoo

Olivia and her cousin Ellie at the zoo.

Group shot

Quick Family shot

We went to Brett's cousins wedding this weekend. It was a good time. I discovered that Ethan is even more like his dad than I thought..he does NOT like to dance. So Jack, Olivia, and I hit the dance floor. They've got some sweet moves..I guess they are more like me than I thought. =)

This pic is in response to a tag..you're suppost to go to the fourth file and pick out the fourth pic, post it then tell about it. So here it is. This is my little sweet Jack when his brother shared a blue fruit snack with him. He loved it so much he wouldn't let me take it out. Look at those round cute little cheeks!

All play!

Ethan loves his cape and wears it all the time!

Little Multi tasker

Jack really wanted me to take this picture..in fact I took a few that didn't make "the cut". Around his neck is a stop watch and he was timing how fast he could chug the water.

Four wheeling

Grandpa Dave called the other day and wanted everyone to come over and four wheel. Of course the boys were in! This is the whole gang.

Ethan doing a jump..he's very proud of this picture! (Don't worry mom it looks like he's jumping a lot higher than he really is)

Jack's just to cute!

Sunday Pics

These were taken one Sunday morning and no one wanted to pose for me. I had to bribe with some serious candy! So I thought that these turned out considering the circumstances. All color coordinated...yep I'm one of those.

Olivia is by far the busiest of all my kids. She climbs, crawls, and explores all over the place. (As I'm posting this I've had to take her off the counter 3 times) Good thing she's adorable!

A Visit to Vala's

Jack stuck his little face in the hole and zoned out. He wouldn't smile, wouldn't look at me..nope he just zoned out for awhile. (It was great... just like his papa!)

Picking pumpkins

My mother-in-law has a big pumpkin patch and it's tradition that every year the kids go out and pick out their very own pumpkin. This year Jack decided that he needed about 5. He liked to carry them ALL on this own and said that he was just helping out Olivia. Cute little guy. Here they are with their pumpkins.

Petting Zoo

We went to the petting zoo and Olivia was not loving a minute of it.

The boys thought it was pretty great. Which is a surprise because the last time that we went a goat grabbed Jack by his hood and wouldn't let go. I thought it was pretty funny but Jack apparently Jack didn't.

First day of school

Ethan and Jack on their first day of preschool. I thought that I would have to help Jack to go inside, turns out I could hardly get a picture taken because he was so excited. As soon as I opened the car door he bolted for the entrance. Ethan wanted to know if all the other moms took pictures because he thought it was pretty embarrassing. So cute!
